Phoenix Bars saved the day when I was struggling with high-altitude appetite issues and I needed substantial calories with food I could trust during my particularly tough expedition in the Indian Himalayas. I found them to be very yummy and their high-calorie count was a big plus on the mountain.
I had a Phoenix Bar before the Cardiff Half-Marathon. The bar was great, very tasty and I definitely think it helped my performance for sure.
I struggle with fuelling between 20 - 40 miles. I had a phoenix bar before I hit my ‘wall’ and it provided me with enough energy to see me through my difficult period. It was very tasty without leaving a taste, which is often the problem that flavour can repeat on you and make things unpleasant. Phoenix bars did not cause any problems at all. It filled me up in a way that meant I didn’t have to worry about indigestion or bad tastes in the mouth. Looking forward to my next challenge!
I tried Phoenix Bars for the first time at a race on Saturday and they were delicious, handy and filling. I had my best ultra performance so far and I have no doubt these helped hugely as I normally struggle a bit with fuelling and nutrition.

I used a couple of Phoenix Bars on a 24-hour cycle recently and was impressed with the taste and how easily they went down. I find it hard to pack in calories in endurance events, as my stomach usually starts playing up, but these flapjacks didn't cause any problems. Ordered some more for an upcoming race - great product.
